You Are Fearfully and Wonderfully Made!

Fearfully and Wonderfully Made

But the voice spoke again: “Do not call something unclean if God has made it clean.” (Acts 10:15 NLT)

As a child of the Most High God, you must know and believe that you are who God says you are!  Nothing and nobody can change that truth!  God made you and whatever God does cannot be undone (Ecclesiastes 3:14).  I find that believing this truth is not just an outward challenge (when the enemy uses someone to attempt to judge you), but it is also and inward one when we fail in some regard.  Sometimes we can be are own worst critic.  However, it is at times when we fail that we must remember we are not what we do…or what we don’t do; we are who God says we are.  And God says we are His beloved in whom He is well pleased, because He says this of Jesus, and God promised us, that as Christ is so are we (His children) in this world (1 John 4:17).  We are not a failure or an unclean habit.  We are the righteousness of God in Christ (2 Corinthians 5:21).

The Lord had to correct Peter in this regard when he was attempting to call unclean what the Lord cleansed  (See Acts 10).  The Lord taught Peter that day, and is teaching us now, what He cleanses, we are not to call unclean.  Jesus has indeed cleansed us (1 John 1:7).  Beloved, when the sinless, blameless pure blood of the Son of God cleanses you, you are clean. Jesus blood has washed you and made you irrevocably clean. There is no shortcoming, addiction, sin, wrong-decision…not a created thing…there is nothing that was, that is, or which is to come that can make you unclean!  Renounce to the guilt and condemnation, because sons and daughters of God, you are who God says you are!

I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; marvelous are Your works, and that my soul knows very well. (Psalm 139:14).
